We were delighted to welcome the Mothers’ Union, who introduced us to their lovely Teddy Small initiative.
Each child was invited to choose their very own hand-knitted teddy bear, lovingly made by volunteers from the Mothers’ Union. Every teddy is completely unique, just like the children in our class family! Through a special story and time together, we explored the importance of kindness, celebrating our differences, including others and making everyone feel that they belong.
The Teddy Small project has such a beautiful message at its heart: we are all different, but we are all equally special, valued and loved.
We hope these little teddies become treasured companions, offering comfort, friendship and a reminder that every child is an important part of our school family.
A huge thank you to the Mothers’ Union and their wonderful volunteers for such a thoughtful gift for our children.
